Cheemly is a subscription software service that helps chemists, students, educators, and lab teams plan reactions, understand structures, summarise literature, draft reports, generate safety notes, and keep multi-step chemistry projects organised. Moll is the in-product mascot and guide; references to “Moll” in our copy do not change the contractual nature of the service.

Cheemly is not a public open-source project, not a substitute for a qualified chemist, not a regulated electronic laboratory notebook of record, and not a clinical or pharmaceutical decision-support system. Outputs are educational and productivity assistance only.

The Privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, with the level of detail required by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the UK GDPR, the Swiss FADP, Türkiye’s Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and equivalent laws.

The Terms of Service explain the contract between Cheemly and the user — what you may and may not do, billing, cancellation, IP, warranties, liability, and dispute resolution.

The Security overview describes the technical and organisational measures (Article 32 GDPR) that protect the workspace, including encryption, segregation, deterministic chemistry verification, and incident handling.

Cheemly helps organise and explain chemistry. Users remain fully responsible for verifying any output before relying on it in a laboratory, classroom, publication, procurement decision, regulatory submission, safety report, or any other consequential workflow.

Cheemly outputs must never be the sole basis for hazardous synthesis, exposure to humans or animals, regulated manufacturing, clinical decisions, environmental release, or compliance with chemical-controls regimes (e.g. UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, GHS/CLP, REACH, controlled-substance schedules).

Free is intended for evaluation and small tasks; it includes a weekly model-weighted credit allowance, abuse-prevention checks, and may have feature, history, and concurrency limits.

Lab is intended for individual working chemists. Lab Pro is intended for heavier daily use, larger session history, faster paper-source coverage, and elevated quota.

Paid plans are subscription products. They are not open-source licences and do not grant any right to copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, host, white-label, or sub-license Cheemly.
